Here, we present results concerning the funeral practices for children in Myanmar, during the Iron Age. This work was possible thanks to fieldwork conducted every year since 2001, by the Archaeological Department of Mandalay and the French Archaeological Mission (directed by J.-P. Pautreau, CNRS). We will compare the ways of burial for children of Myanmar with those of neighbouring countries, where archaeological research is often more active or more advanced (especially in Thailand). In some Myanmar cemeteries, the deceased of every age are buried in virtually the same way (Hnaw Kan, Htan Ta Pin), in others, there are burial practices specific to children (Ywa Htin, Myo Hla).
